AZ Truck Driver

We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic Shunt Truck Driver whose main objective will be moving trailers/product between the Production plant, located at 301 Forest Ave. North, Orillia, ON, and the warehouse, located at 625 Harvie Settlement Rd. Orillia, ON. On occasion, they will also move trailers to our third location which is located at 2 Hunter Valley Road, Orillia ON.

Hours: Friday, Saturday and Sunday 7 am-5 pm.

Major Responsibilities of AZ Truck Driver:

• Safe and efficient movement of trailers in and out of dock doors, within and between the three different sites (all within Orillia, ON);
• Monitor truck condition and communicate with the regional manager when repair(s) required (Daily Inspection Required);
• Maintain a clean and tidy workplace;
• Following safe operating procedures at all times;
• Inspect trailers;
• Some driving into the GTA and surrounding areas (as required);
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

• Valid AZ license (mandatory – with clean CVOR and Drivers Abstract);
• A minimum of two years of relevant truck driving experience (with a day cab preferred);
• Ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure;
• Capacity to effectively communicate, and provide clear information to others;
• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
